ABOUT DARREN

I’ve always been drawn to creative stuff. I started with music, my wife and I spent years writing songs and performing together. It was a big part of our lives and took us all over the place. We still write together when we can. Music taught me how to feel a moment, how to tell a story that connects.

That naturally led me into film. I’ve always loved art, photography, design, and film just felt like the space where all of that came together. I didn’t go to film school or take the traditional route. I just started making things. One project at a time. Learning on the go.

What I enjoy most is telling stories that feel real. Stories that make you feel something, not just another flashy tourism video, but something honest that actually captures what makes a place special.

I live in South Africa with my wife and our kids, and we still spend a lot of time dreaming together. Travel, film, music, family, it’s all tied together for us.
